ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels provides support on technical, market and policy developments for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with EU decision-makers, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users and other stakeholders.

Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive student to join us as a Legal Intern to support its Legal Services Section in Brussels. The Legal Section comprises approximately 11 Legal Managers and Legal Advisors and plays a key role in ensuring the legal and regulatory consistency of ENTSO-E's activities.
During the internship you will work closely with the Legal team and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation, as well as with members of the Legal and Regulatory Group (LRG), a network of legal experts from Transmission System Operators (TSOs).
The internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in EU energy law and regulation within a dynamic European environment.
Your responsibilities
With a supervision of a manager you will:
Provide support on the implementation, monitoring, and amendment of Network Codes and Guidelines
Assist in the drafting of legal texts, including terms, conditions, and methodologies
Contribute to the interpretation and application of the Electricity Market Design Reform package, the Grids package and related EU legislation
Carry out legal research and support the preparation of analyses and memoranda
Collaborate with other ENTSO-E teams and contribute to cross-functional and project-based work
Responsibilities may evolve depending on organisational needs and the intern's development.
Your profile
We are looking for a motivated candidate with the following skills and qualifications:
Be a full time student in Law, preferably with a focus on European Law and/or Energy Law.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in EU energy law and policy.
Excellent command of English (written and oral).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Motivation to work in a multinational and multicultural environment.
Assets:
Previous experience in the energy sector (e.g. internships).
Requirements
Be eligible to reside in the European Union (EU citizenship or valid residence permit).
Be enrolled as a full-time student the entire duration of the internship.
Complete the internship as part of their university programme
Set up an internship agreement between the university & ENTSO-E.
Provide proof of health insurance coverage by university
Be available for a period of at least 5 months.
